On the occasion of SIAL Paris 2024, SprintProject unveils the results of its study on Open Innovation in the agri-food sector, entitled “ How Open Innovation can accelerate the transformation of the agri-food industry through smart collaborations ". This study highlights how Open Innovation can be an asset and help companies in the sector to meet the challenges linked to sustainability or more broadly to the evolution of consumer expectations.
How is Open Innovation an opportunity for the sector?
The agri-food sector is going through a period of transformation. Faced with growing sustainability challenges and constantly changing consumer expectations, companies must review their approaches to innovation and go beyond product innovation. Open Innovation represents one possible response, by offering companies the opportunity to collaborate with external stakeholders, large groups, customers, suppliers, or even start-ups, in order to promote the development of new solutions adapted to market needs.
