The 2019 edition opens a new era for SITL which becomes Transport and Logistics Innovation Week. New positioning, new dynamics, major issues and highlights, new spaces, new exhibitors, a reinvented conference program, three days of innovation, meetings and opening up to a flagship sector of the economy at the heart of major regional movements and international.
SITL 2019 will be held from March 26 to 28, 2019 – Paris Porte de Versailles – Pavilion 1. This 36th edition will bring together 30,000 professional visitors and 530 exhibitors across 6 sectors. Around a hundred conferences and workshops will be offered around the following themes: urban logistics, modal transport, new energies, robotization, blockchain, cybersecurity, new professions, import-export, cold chain, dangerous goods, intralogistics, logistics real estate.
The “Start-up Lab” Village set up as an extension of the Smart Demo, and designed in association with the growth accelerator SprintProject, Innovation Partner, will bring together nearly forty “start-ups” who will have the opportunity to compete in the “Start-up Contest”. Up to 10 pre-selected people will participate in the Start-up Contest Final in the form of pitches, on Wednesday March 27 at 10 a.m. Two trophies will be up for grabs: the Jury Prize, and the Public Prize, who for the first time will be able to vote live by SMS for their favorite start-up.
The Innovation Evening, in conjunction with the awards ceremony awarded to the two most innovative start-ups as part of the “Start-up Contest”, will take place on Wednesday March 27 at 6 p.m. For this 19th edition, the six trophies in competition correspond to the six areas of the exhibition: Best Innovation in Transport & Logistics Services, Best Innovation in Technologies, RFID and Information Systems, Best Innovation in Real Estate and Logistics Infrastructure, Best Innovation in Transport Equipment, Best Intralogistics Innovation, and New 2019: Best Robotics & AI Innovation.
