The Tankyou startup was created in June 2016 with the ambition of improving services to the oil industry around three major challenges.<\/p>\n
The observation is there: while car manufacturers produce increasingly comfortable and intelligent vehicles, the number of service stations are disappearing from cities and the quality of service has been gradually decreasing for several years. Who has not already said or heard when filling up gas \"\u00a0A few years ago, there was a person serving us! It's all over. Today you have to do everything yourself<\/em> \" ?<\/p>\n Faced with this decline in customer service, Antoine Roussel explains the beginnings of Tankyou: \u201cIt seemed obvious to us that we needed to revolutionize the customer experience around the oil industry, because oil companies invest little in this business!<\/em> ". The Tankyou company was created to take the opposite approach to existing solutions: move the service station to the customer.<\/p>\n The massive use of new technologies allows the startup to considerably strengthen its value proposition: thanks to data, Tankyou has a much finer knowledge of its customers (unlike oil companies), which allows the young company to offer a unique and tailor-made customer experience. Are you an individual ? Tankyou can offer you an express service, off-peak hours or weekends. Are you a company ? Tankyou can help you achieve several thousand euros in productivity gains by optimizing your Supply.<\/p>\n Who today doesn't want to drive a cleaner vehicle? Nobody. Clean cars should therefore be abundant on our streets, which is clearly not yet the case. For what ? Because access to these cleaner energies is too complicated according to Antoine Roussel: \u201cThere are 17 CNG stations in Ile-de-France while there are 1000 for diesel.\u201d<\/em> The problem lies in the fixed station distribution model: mathematically and statistically, it is much more efficient to match a mobile demand (our cars) with a mobile offer (Tankyou service stations) rather than with a fixed network ( traditional service stations). Result ? Energy companies are reluctant to open \u201cclean\u201d stations and wait for local demand to emerge before investing\u2026 but for their part, motorists wait for a clean station to open nearby to buy a cleaner car. In short, a real vicious circle that the paradigm shift (mobile distribution) suggested by Tankyou could finally break.<\/p>\n \"\u00a0Since May 2019, we have been marketing a CNG repair or refueling service for small fleets (2-3 SUVs) in Ile de France. Which corresponds to 40 km of autonomy for a heavy goods vehicle<\/em> ".
