Interview with GASSE M\u00e9d\u00e9ric and LEICHTNAM Louis \u2013 Co-Founders of Delivening<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just once, let's give the floor today to a very\u2026 early startup!<\/p>\n

Why would SprintProject be interested in such a young startup?<\/p>\n

Several reasons could push us to do this:<\/p>\n

\u2013 That it is on a subject that we have detected\/qualified as \u201cstrategic\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2013 That it brings a real breakthrough, a real innovation to a part of activity in our sector<\/p>\n

\u2013 That it offers truly disruptive innovation<\/p>\n

Well, in the case of Delivening, all three of these characteristics are met, and it's rare enough to note!<\/p>\n

Interview\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

SprintProject: Louis, M\u00e9d\u00e9ric, what is the<\/em><\/strong>'history of <\/em><\/strong>Delivening?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We met at ESC Toulouse, had early careers that could be described as promising (SP: Louis worked on financial markets and M\u00e9d\u00e9ric was a raw materials buyer), but we both wanted to do something else. thing, to live differently.<\/p>\n

Following a delivery problem, we started to think about how to bring a new approach to the delivery of bulky and\/or heavy products. The idea for Delivening was born in 2017 and we have been working on it full time since March 2018.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

SprintProject: So what is the idea?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The idea is to completely review the two-person delivery model by deconstructing the delivery logic from that of the installation.<\/p>\n

In our model, a truck driver drives his vehicle and makes his tour. At the same time, a fleet of installers present in the delivery area ensures, at each truck stopping point, the delivery and installation of the product concerned.<\/p>\n

SprintProject: And today<\/em><\/strong>'today?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A major distributor entrusted us with a test on a 1er<\/sup> store and a 2n\/a<\/sup> at the beginning of September, the gain obtained in the number of additional delivery points is very significant.<\/p>\n

SprintProject: C<\/em><\/strong>'<\/em><\/strong>what is it<\/em><\/strong>'future\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>of Delivening?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our first figures demonstrate that through our process and the tools we put in place we create real value for our customers.<\/p>\n

Now, we still need to validate the relevance of our model on a larger sample of concrete cases, strengthen our team and quantify the cost of our IT development, etc.<\/p>\n

We are looking for \u20ac300,000 to advance these topics.<\/p>\n

SprintProject: After 235 startups identified, more than 50 met during our startup sittings, we are starting to have a precise idea of the state of innovations in our sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As is often the case, many subjects did not hold our interest and obviously, the most advanced startups are often the most interesting. However, some of them challenge us and this is the case of Delivening. Let's hope they find the financial means to validate their model and shake up the world of two-person delivery!<\/strong><\/p>\n
